I want to help so badly. My son is not autistic but we went through several years of hell, trying to keep him alive, trying to stay alive when he raged and threatened and had suicide attempts. Phew, it was... hell. No other word for it. He was so unreachable at that time.

And we had to save daughter. We actually had to get her out of the house for safety for a while. It felt like we were punishing her.
