This makes what comes next seem somehow not so painful to me. That’s not quite right--maybe it’s that the pain will be easier to bear (but not any less painful). The pain now seems like another milestone in the journey, and we’ll figure it out together, when we get there.

I am SOOO happy for you! It sounds like your journey just got a lot easier! I think I'm now considered one of Ts "difficult" clients after all that has happened this year. I know he cares, but I don't think he "thinks the world of me" like he told me last year. It's so good to hear that you have such a good relationship with your T!
