I don't know how old you are but if you are in high school then college would be a good place to meet other people with your interests. Also playing piano you could be in a band or a part of a play or production at school. If you are religious you can be an organist. Or you can be an accompanist for singers that would be a great way to meet people who are into the arts. And if you cannot talk you will be the mysterious one the true artist soul. Then I think you will warm up and find your niche. Everyone is into computers too practice chatting with people on the web (do not date or meet them) but practice conversational skills they cannot see you and you can trial and error until you find your own style and get comfortable. Don't feel bad about being shy you seem very talented and intelligent. Plus you are super lucky to get along with your parents, that is a wonderful thing. I think it is difficult sometimes to be an individual these days because of the constant bombardment of images on TV portraying these perfect people always doing exciting things and knowing exactly what say. Hell we would be that way too with a script and someone running your lines on a telepromter. That is not reality. Reality I think is sometimes embarassing the [censored] out of yourself. Saying the dumbest thing at the most inappropriate time. Feeling alone. Plus most people are so into talking about themselves just give them a lead in and let them go. You won't have to talk and they will think you were the best conversationalist ever. This last part I really know to be a fact. Remember you are a sensitive artist and all you have to do is cultivate your talents. Take care of yourself I totally know where you are coming from. "neverlands"
