You are so right about the begging and trying to reason with people who make it their job to control our minds, and even what we do. I have tried so many times to explain to my Mom what happens with the controlling issue, but it doesn't do any good. We just have to hold our heads up, live our lives, and let those kind of people live in their own misery. And they are very miserable people when they have nothing better to do than to degrade and control others. You are good!!
