That's true, mum's been saying the same thing. It's strange, though, because there do seem to be quite a few jobs going...maybe there's also a lot of people looking? You're probably right there, as I'm sure is fairly obvious from my posts I don't have much in the way of confidence.

That's great! I wish there was some volunteering that was relevant to engineering or design, but a lot of it is either retail or social work...guess any sort of contact with the public is useful, though.
