Welcome Saly. I have DID as well. I was diagnosed in '91/'92 at 17. I've been diss. since age 7 though. For me, I always knew something was amiss. Though I had thought everybody could see & hear 'people' & lost 'time'. I also just thought I had very detailed imaginary friends. My husband is supportive as well. He doesn't want to know the deep details, he likes to focus on the present whereas I focus on the past. But if I'm not 'out', he will know. He doesn't make a big deal, but I do know he knows when I'm not me. I trust him so even though I don't remember what happened, he will keep me safe.
