The "con" in con men is sharpened to a very fine edge...It is their busines to make people believe and they become very good at it..

I am so sorry that your dreams were broken along with your heart..and it is good that you talk about it and make your feelings see the air...it changes them...gives them less power..Keep talking about them..and let the anger that will soon form out too...
