I feel for you. I was in a similar boat this summer. My insurance would have paid for some pittance out of system -- less than 50%.

No insurance of money, no help. It's a great system we have here in the U.S. Imagine if your kid needed surgery or treatment to stay alive & insurance wouldn't pay.
