I believe right now is very difficult for folks to obtain employement. The market is an employers market with so few jobs and so many applicants.

There are some websites that will help you learn to "sell" yourself both in your resume and during a face to face interview. I think the trick is to let the prospect employer know exactly why they should hire you and not the next person.
