It wasn't directed to any one person. I'm in agreement with Wants2Fly because I recognize many different people at many different times, myself included. I'm choosing to take it as a wake-up call to all of us.

There is some humor in it for me, because I use humor to carry me through the difficult times, but I don't think it was meant to be humorus. There's too much truth in it.

As for the "black or white" statement, I agree with the author. Both are faulty. Right now it escapes me what it has to do with the original post. It doesn't matter to me, though. It was still a brilliant statement, IMHO.
