I am on an SSRI antidepressant. Since starting on these meds, I have had some very emotional dreams. The emotions vary in each dream but just the emotion is the main feature of each dream. One dream was intense frustration, another was fear, and yet another was intense anger. Is this the work of SSRI antidepressants? I have read somewhere online that SSRIs can inhibit your ability to dream but my dreams are the opposite, much more intense. Can anybody explain this?
