It takes time to find the right job, the last time I was looking it took me 1 1/2 years to find one. Family can make you feel that you can't do anything, I know that is the way I feel now, I'm going to hate to look for a new job myself. So no, you are not alone with the feelings you have!
See if you can find another part time job you may like, and try looking into local radio stations to see about interning there, it would get your foot in the door, or even your local tv stations.
