I'm meant to be in hospital, recuperating from my surgery.

However, I have an infection, which means that I can't have surgery, because of the risk of it spreading to the metal hardware (My spine is going to be fused, but that takes six months to a year to finish, so they use rods to hold it all together until then)

So now, I just have to wait for it to clear up, and then it (should be) fine to go ahead. Then it's one week in hospital, and after that I get to come home.
