I wasn't going to initially do this but have since changed my mind since this thread is continuing. I invite you all to read the thread that I will be giving you the link to. It's in the new Self-Esteem forum and started by wants2fly. The initail subject of the thread, which is fine and totally unrelated, was shortly thereafter transformed into something entirely different, something that very often happens. FYI, neither threads are about me, which I'm sure some of you have wrongly assumed. I merely am standing up for the person that this thread is about, regardless of what intent is told here.

I like wants2fly. I supported her on her other thread and you will see that should you choose to read it. I've supported her many times as she has me. I have absolutely nothing against her personally. She's obviously hurting very much and I fully recognize that fact and have given her support in both threads. So, should you choose, please direct yourselves to the link I provide and please read the entire thread. Page 5 is IMHO proof of the origin of this thread but it would be more informative to read the thread from it's conception. I PM'd wants2 last night and as of this point she has chosen to not reply my PM. I can understand that she is probably hurt/angry with me right now, she may choose to never speak to me again and for that I will be truly sorry because I've always liked her. I just can't idley sit back and watch any one specific poster, regardless of who they are being ridiculed by another. I agree that what she wrote was in a parody form of what can be found elsewhere, which I had already read the original source prior to this thread being written. I also agree that many, including myself, can find some truth in what she presented. But I don't agree in what I firmly to be her motives. I know I'm not alone in my thoughts. I want to thank em for being the only one brave enough to agree with me in public. So, thanks em, it was a brave thing for you to do. I'm sure me expressing my viewpoint in this thread will bring me further ridicule from others on this site and so be it. You can think of me what you will but at least I know that I am willing to stand up for another poster on this site.

So, please, read this other thread starting at it's conception and pay close attention to the posts by wants2fly within the thread and particularily page 5 when you get to it.

If you still feel that this thread is posted without any connection to the link, then so be it. I personally don't.

Wants2fly, I'm sorry sweetie. I know you are hurting and I fully support that and have in both threads. If I'm wrong in my opinion then I'm deeply sorry but after reading what you said in that other thread, which I had no problem with had you left it at that, and then posting this thread, I have a different viewpoint than the one to which you are presenting to everybody else here. I wish you absolutely NO harm, which I wish for everyone on this site. I also regret that it appears that standing up for one poster is at the detriment of a friendship I had with you.
