Mouse, not everyone has contact during the day with their sitter. The kind of job that I have, I'm not allowed to bring my cell into work. I'm not allowed to make or receive calls that aren't pertaining to my work unless an absolute DIRE emergency. So no, the odds are good she wouldn't have had contact during the day.

Genuine care for our kids - this woman is a good mother who made a tragic mistake. She was overworked, had a change in schedule, and I'm willing to bet something else happened or was going on that would have driven her to forget this beautiful little girl was in the van with her.
