Lmo, I'm sure you remember a very obnoxious young man last year that was so angry, he seemed to insult everyone. In fact, your signature, at one point was aimed at him. Part of it still remains.

The reason I bring this up is that every now and then there are a few people that are so needy for attention that they'll do anything for attention, whether it's negative or possitive. Just because there are one or two on the board right now doesn't mean that the original post was meant for them. Like I've said before, I recognize myself as well as many others that have been and are on the board right now.

Fact 1: This happens on EVERY message board in one way or another.

Fact 2: Negative truths often hurt

Fact 3: We are all too quick to forget the possitive statements made to us, but we're chomping at the bit to REACT to the negative ones. Has anyone besides Wants2 given and serious thought to the original post? I seriously doubt it!

I'm as guilty as the next person for wanting attention. There have been many times that what I thought was a darn good post got ignored. I was hurt and frustrated. Take last night when I posted about my oldest son. You bet I was wanting attention!! I wanted everyone here to look at the pix, read his email to me and comment possitively to it! Why do you think I titled the post to cause curiosity? TO GET ATTENTION! How come no one is faulting ME for being an attention getter??

Too many people are being too quick to side with the negative and promote it. Why can't you just look in the "mirror" that was provided for us and realize that maybe there's some room for improvement??

What bad form we present when we take anything that disturbs our comfort zone and attack others because we were made to feel uncomfortable! That's what's "crappy"!! (to put it mildly)

Those that have taken the post as "finger pointing" have picked it up and run with it. That is totally unnecessary! Now there is at least ONE member who has been proven right in his illogical thinking. The help that is continually being offered to him could possibly have just gone down the drain. THAT I am taking personally! All of this has been based on ASSUMPTIONS. Do we all know what ***-U-ME does??

I'm going to get off my soapbox now before I get in trouble with the administration.
