We had a WONDERFUL day today

Tony took Dani, Dominic and I to an exotic bird park. We've never been before and have some amazing photographs We had parrots, african greys, macaws, military macaws, various smaller beautiful birds all feeding out of hands and standing on our shoulders ...... it was wonderful. Some of them are very rare, some were given to the park as unwanted pets and some have been hand reared there. We walked through a woodland full of loose birds, the parrots were talking Sometimes you could just hear them yelling ''hello' or 'hi there' from above.... the african greys were immitating cell phones, saying all sorts of things and the bigparrots were mimicking Dom and I laughing,we were in stitches .... it was so theraputic I want to go again and again .... it was a wonderful idea of Tonys ... we talked to the staffand got to know some of the birds' names .... one of the military macaws actually came onto my arm because i stood there for ages talking to him, he took a grape off meso gently thn stood on me for ages, even the keeper didn't get on with him!!!!!!!

Dominic had an african grey on his shoulder for ages, it took a shine to him lol .... one smaller bird who loved shiny things bit my earlobe and drew blood lol, it was an amazing day and lovely just us four all together..
