Oh there are other options, not a case of meds not working for you or no meds at all, no need to suffer in silence.
I deal with migraines and also chronic pain with fibromyalgia. Recently my migraine meds pretty much stopped working for me, finally got myself into doc, found out that I might be having rebound headaches, she has me now on another med, a preventative one, that happens to be working great.
Trial and error and trial again til success is the way to go I think. Talk with a health care person about your experiences, they can come up with something else to try, it's worth it.
Also, with any unusual symptoms, like sudden headache, dizziness etc. after taking meds, wise to call your health care person.
