Yes I can't wait for T to get back to tell her!
My manager announced my promotion today and I received a lot of very positive and excited feedback and support! I'm going to need it too--this is one of those opportunities that challenges, excites, and makes me shake in my boots.

I didn't even tell you all of the good things happening to me. (If I say them out loud it might jinx them?). My friend has been trying to sell her house for several years so she could return to her home state and family there. In the meantime she met someone willing to relocate with her and he moved when he found a great job. They can't stand being apart and travelling back and forth is getting old and expensive, so she's moving there in a few weeks and I'm going to move into her house rent-free (I'll pay 2 utilities). Her house is on the beach--not on the water, but on the barrier islands between the Intercoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico, each several blocks from the house. I'll stay until the house sells and then on to a new adventure
