There are many options for depression. My approach for someone who is treatment resistant to drugs would be a multi-factorial approach. In other words you need to try multiple things at once under the direction of a therapist or psychiatrist.
For instance you could start to do light exercise, mindful breathing, modify your diet, take certain supplements that have been clinically proven to reduce depression, and of course keep a sleep journal to monitor changes in your sleeping habits.
