I dont know what to say right now ya'll. I'm in shock. I know its still way out there. But the track continues to stay on us. On the radio a little bit ago, they said st bernard and plaquemine parishes be prepared for a 10-12 foot storm surge with the waves atop that. They said there wont be a st bernard or plaquemine parish to come home to this time. They are starting evacuations tomorrow and on saturday it will be mandatory. We've extended the hotel reservations a few more days. Will wait till its in the gulf to see if the track will move. If not, i just dont know. Fema announced the only help they will give this time is supplies to shelters. National Guard has been called in for preparation. Barges are being placed all along the industrial canal. So right there we know the corps of engineers plan on breaking the levee wall to flood the 9th ward and st bernard again, in order to save the city. Gas lines, bank lines, grocery lines are all a mile long. Most gas stations are running out of gas and grocery stores, well you cant find water anywhere, yet batteries either.

Theres a calm in the air here.

If only it would break down some and not grow more than what it is.
