Congratulations on the 9 months! I have a year today after bumping my head one more time. I could have kept my slip a secret - it wasn't noticeable to others, but what I did and not being honest was more than I could bear. I'm finding that I really don't want to take a cake at my meetings. I think I'm still ashamed of not staying sober. But I will do as my Sponsor suggests and take a cake so that others can see the 12 steps work and let others get to know me better.
