The two words that I see interchanged all too ofter are THAN and THEN. THAN means "instead of" - THEN is a "point in time".
This is what I found on Google. What is has to with religion is totally beyond me, but there didn't seem to be anything else available on my search.
The quotation is given: ""God is bigger and stronger then U" and "if U don't love God, than he ..."
The two words are used wrong here. They are interchanged. It should be "stronger THAN U". The other word shoud be "THEN he..."
This site blames "Fundies" for the misuse. (Had to look up "Fundies". LOL) HUH? What do "fundamentalists" have to do with poor English?

If you don't want to be mistaken for a "Fundie", THEN you'd better get it right.
