I am feeling quite depressed today. So depressed, in fact, that I called in sick to work. I need to talk with someone. I am not calling T because even though he's checking his messages while away, he is not doing so with frequency. Also, I am very sensitive to the fact that he is away, and I don't want to bother him. Besides, it is only four days until he comes back; five 'til I see him. I just think I need to talk with someone a little bit.
I thought I could call my marriage therapist. I like her a lot, and she know a lot of what goes on with me. I think I would feel comfortable talking with her for a few minutes if it was okay with her.
So far I have called twice and hung up before the message machine even beeped.
This is hard.

I know what you mean Pinksoil. It is very hard for me to call my T for ANYTHING, even if it's not a crisis situation (which has only been one time). I'd try out the marriage therapist. She might be better for the moment anyway, and it wouldn't make you feel as awkward with your regular T when he returns. Have you tried any distraction methods like exercise and/or renting a movie (Netflix is good), or cleaning or something?
