I am new here and was just browsing through messages when I saw this post. I am sorry that I am breaking into such an important topic, but I just had to say thanks for saying this. Depression does indeed lie to us. Those lies make me feel worthless, useless, hopeless, unimportant, no good, and unlovable. I never stopped to think that these were the result of the depression. I really believed that these thoughts were true, but your comment gives me hope that they are not true. I will try to remember your comment here. Thank you again.
