I have this little garden, so looking forward to the reward of summer tomatoes. I had ordered "heirloom tomatoe" plants from HSN. Mistake! These plants were weak and didn't produce. Of the 9 or so plants I rec'd, I got a handful of the "black" tomatoes, and some yellow cherry tomatoes which lacked any flavor. My garden partner/yard man planted some hardy varieties, but only one produced, and the things still haven't ripened! Every three days or so, I go out and pick a half-ripened tomato from his one surviving plant, just so eager for a garden tomato!

P.S.....Don't ever order the heirloom tomatoe plants from HSN!
