Mircrosoft has just announced major price drops on the Xbox 360. The Arcade model is now $199.00 making it cheaper than the Nintendo Wii, a great deal considering the 360 has a far more powerful processor than Wii, vastly superior graphics abilities and of course kick *** games such as Halo 3,Gears of War 2 and Forza Motorspot 2. The "Arcade model does not come with a hard drive so it is not online enabled.

The higher end Pro model with a 60 gig hard drive and a year of Xbox Live free and costs $299.00

The top end elite with a 120 gig hard drive is now at $399 and comes with the Xbox live and a host of other bells and whistles.

I am not a fan of the system myself ( I have a PS3) but for those who have not jumped into the current console wars this holiday will be a good time...
