it definitely depends on the hospital. where i went they offered me a stuffed animal, but i declined. it may not be a problem to bring your doll as long as there are no stringy materials. the hospital i went to did not allow any strings whatsoever. you should defintely contact the admissions office and see if they will allow you to bring your doll along. i hope everything works out for you.
