Another thread...

I realized recently... that I.."pretend" that I do not have fibrom. that I try to do all the things that I used to do... and I don't take care of me... of course I am in constant pain... and everything I do aggravates... the fibrom.. because I "pretend".. I don't have it..

If.. I "pretend"... then maybe I don't... I think it is called hiding your head in the sand... lol... and it isn't working for me...

My dr.. futhers this "hiding the head" in the sand.. by not giving me pain medication... or anything that helps... it is like "tough" it out.....so I think that is where I got this idea...

My glands.. in my neck.. sometimes swell... to golf ball size.. the dr.. can feel them... and.. my body is one big giant ache...and it is hard to walk sometimes.. from the pain...she.. simply says... see you...

Would you please give me your thoughts on...the following...

Do you change your lifestyle to accomdate.. your fibrom.?

I guess.. because of my dr's attitude.. I am asking.. if it is OK.. to acknowledge that fibrom. is real.. and that it is OK.. to take care of me...

Do you feel that fibrom.. is a chronic condition? or do you feel like my dr... "oh well"... get tough...
