And yes, I know rats have a bad rap, but they actually do make good pets for those who enjoy them. They can actually be very social and happy when kept in pairs and can even learn tricks sometimes.

From what I am learning though, its just too big a thing for me to do right now, i need to learn much much more before I undertake this.

I think I might just stick to getting a pair of hooded ratty babies and keep them and see how I do.
