I'm concerned that you were put on an anti-depressant without any other support.
A few ideas for you:
Food and our diet can have a *huge* impact on how our brains function. Processed sugar is a drug, and it can affect our concentration and mood. I might also take a look at caffeine intake, and any other 'energy drinks'.
I've found as I've gotten older that my body is more sensitive to foods, not sure if this is a factor with you.
It might be worth meeting with a nutritionist, and creating a good diet. That way you can see how your mind works with proper fuel.
Since you say this is a relatively new problem -- I think addressing issues of nutrition and physical exercise would be my first step. Finding a good counselor to support you with this life change might also be very helpful.
