The lower, the better. A "normal" person with few mental health issues of serious concern will still score in the 30s to 50s. People with a lot of mental health concerns, or one major one that is impacting many areas of their life will score much higher, usually in the 140 to 200 range.

The questions that test for schizophrenia-like thoughts and symptoms can also result in high scores in people who don't have schizophrenia or a related disorder, but are very creative or dissociate...
