I don't actually have any advice for you but I just wanted to let you know that you are a great writer! I know that was not intended to be a funny story whatsoever, but I found myself smiling when you were describing the people you were talking about, not about them.. just the way you write is great! I found myself wanting to know more about these people and your interactions with them!

Just to be clear, I am not finding amusement in your situation, I don't mean any disrespect, it was just really interesting Hope you will keep writing.
