I take my temperature every now and then and it usually runs somewhere between 97.8F and 98.8F. However, a number of times over the years I have gone to the clinic or hospital and the nurse said it was 99F or even 100F. Today I went to the ER and it was 100F. I took my temperature about 5 times today while at home and it was within the normal range so I asked the nurse what could cause my temperature to be so high and she said that anxiety can cause that. Has anyone else here noticed a difference in temperature at home vs the clinic/hospital?.
