I know you aren't looking for in real life friends, and I'm also positive that where you are going to be for your training is not near me, but I wish I could be there and pick you up from your motel room for your birthday and take you out to do something fun. When is it? We could have an on-line birthday party. I'll bring the chocolate again. No, it isn't like having Alex there with you, but you could have him there too by phone. And have another party with him when you are home.

I'm so sorry that your husband is that way. I'm really at a loss for what else to say about that.

You do need a vacation. Can the time you're away, at least when you're on your own time, be used like a vacation? That was what I was hoping your travel time would do for you - give you time away from things when you can relax. If you could go on vacation, where would you go and what would you do?
