My pdoc put me on Aripiprazole (abilify) to help me "think more clearly" and be able to tell the difference between reality and non-reality better. I think it is helping. He started me on a low dose, 10mg, then we had to cut it back to 7.5 because of severe akesthesia. I take 15mg pills and cut them in 1/2 with a pill cutter to get my 7.5mg dose. When I see him on April 4th again I am going to tell him I need to go back up to 10mg because reality is starting to distort around the edges (so to speak) for me again.

I'm very sensitive to medications, almost "homeopathically" so. Don't know why -- you'd think with the years of substance abuse it would be the other way around, but for example I'm only on 750 mg of Depakote and it zombifies me totally. I need caffeine morning and afternoon just to function at all during the day.
