its different here, you can get a provisional licence here at age 16 but you can only ride a bike or scooter on that and you need to do The compulsory basic training course as well
you can start learning to drive at 17 but you have to pass a theroy test and a driving test before you are allowed to drive on the rd
i agree that youngsters dont see the dangers we see and can be irresponsible at times
and in charge of a motor vehicles this age is to low
