Please, let me clarify. Coitus Interruptus, a.k.a., withdrawal, is an extremely ineffective means of birth control. Condoms, are much more effective. However, they still leave much to be desired, when used alone. They may leak, rupture or slip off. A spermicide cream, jelly, or foam, should always be used concurrently.

Usually, when one utilizes a condom, and an oral contraceptive. The primary purpose of the condom, is to reduce the risk of acquiring a sexually transmitted disease. Oral contraceptives, are a very effective means of birth control, when used properly.

I have, a couple of comprehensive, medical journal articles on birth control. They explore many other options, in addition to condoms and oral contraceptives. Please let me know, if you would like me to forward them to you. I have not posted the links here, because, I believe prior approval may be required by PC.
