At various times over the last 10 or so years since my anxiety/panic has gotten really bad, I have noticed that sometimes when I am just trying to relax my lower lip will suddenly start to quiver a little bit. I have also noticed at various times (although not that often) I will have an increase in salivation. I'm not shaking all over or "foaming" at the mouth or anything like that but there is just more saliva that usual.
Of course, I'm thinking "rabies" and all kinds of other horrible diseases but I read that Xanax can cause an increase or decrease in salivation and I had a nurse tell me a long time ago that withdrawl from Xanax can cause the lip quiver thing but how can I be going through withdrawl when I just took a Xanax a few hours ago?. Can taking Xanax cause this too?. Has anyone else ever experienced this?.
Also, the fact that I'm producing more saliva. Is that common with anxiety/panic disorders?. I've experienced these things before (more saliva and lip thing) but I don't think I;ve ever asked other's if they had any of these symptoms/side effects.
- Thank's!
