i agree its such a strange world we live in, normaly it was stuff like i missed the bus so i would tell her to go bk to friends and ask if sghe could stay teaching her that if she needed to be home she would make sure she was there when bus was
we are lucky we live in an area where crime isnt as high as it is where shes going of to uni, but even when picking her up at that time there were youngsters were forming around the stores carpark one even had a lengh of wood,
i allways have taught them to kleep moblie/cell phones close easy to reach when out and even if no credit on the phone 999 is free
