Think of an event that you have witnessed which horrified you. Your job is to describe the event and evoke the horror. Do not state or explain that you were horrified. Instead, use detail to describe the event and reveal your attitude. Share your description with the class.
I really hope I don't need to elaborate on this, do I?
I was searching my memory banks for horrific events that I wittnessed, thought I could use one, but nope, didn't witness that one, it happened to me. I keep thinking, I've never seen anything that has horrified me, I've heard things that have, I have felt horrified before...but seen? Nope. And even if I did, why would I want to drag that memory up? Why would ANYBODY want to drag that sort of memory up, describe it in graphic detail, and then be expected to share it in a classroom?

Kaika I can only speak from my own experiences. Once I had a job, well paid too. Then the horrors of alcohol totally changed the rosy outlook. I associated with undesirables in pubs and my positives turned to negatives. That's the real horrors of life, to lose faith in yourself. Never rely on other's advice, it leads you to ruin. Believe in yourself 100 per cent.
