My dad is my payee. Even though sometimes I hate it and rebel and we argue I know that for now it is the best thing for me. We are working on a budget for me and working on me sticking to my budget. So far I'm not doing so hot on that so dad has to stay my payee. The main time I hate it is when I go to cash a check at the bank in his town they don't know their head from a hole in the ground and try to tell me I can't cash it without his permission and I have to explain it to them that yes I can cash it and I get frustrated and try to stay calm. It isn't happening as much now though because its a small branch of the bank and they are getting used to seeing me as I only cash a check once a week. I am given my money once a week and I am to figure out what I need for the week money wise and if I blow it all the first day then it's my fault and I have to figure out what I'm going to do. That is teaching me to budget my money. So far it's ok. I'm trying to keep a dollar in my wallet every week.

I have heard some horror stories about people and their payee's but have heard some positive one's too.
