It may be based on the GAF score, I really don't know one way or the other if it is or not. However, do know that my GAF score was 65 when I applied and I was approved for SSDI in 4 q/2 months, with no denial...for mental illness. Also, late last year, I got forms indicating it was time to review my case. My psychologist was asked to answer a couple questions on the form and one of them was GAF score. She put 76. Two weeks later I got a letter saying there was no need to review my case...SSDI continues.
