OK, here's question number one (i'm sure i'll have many..lmao) what color shade would you suggest for me for a med to light blonde without getting the orange tint? i've colored my hair since i was 19 (pregnacy drastically darkened or more took the color out of it). i never had a problem with "orange tint" until about 8 yrs ago. if i had more grey, i'd go natural, but right now it's just colorless without anything. i was always a natural blond. in fact, my brows are lighter than my hair is now.

i've tried the ash, champaignes, etc. i definitely stay away from "goldens". i even thought it was the over the counter stuff, but went a few months ago and got it done at the salon and it turned out exactly like it did when i did it myself. the only time in recent years that i've not dealt with the "orange" tint is when i was having it highlighted with "frosting"...big bucks. my hair was short then too.

what do you recommend. going back to the expensive highlighting?
