Dear Patty,
I know what you mean.
I was going to do a campaign phone bank for my candidate but had to cancel due to health issues.
It is a very serious election at a most important time in our history.
I have talked back to the tv over this many times this month already!!!!
I think it's a good idea to realize the issues that matter most to you in your life, and if you are still undecided, watch the debates closely.
If you already know who you are voting for, you might be in a position to get people to vote. Both sides have community operations. Their websites will direct you in how you can help. It might make you feel better.
Then again, it might not be available for you to participate in that manner, so I hope you can find some peace in political websites, and an example of a democratic one is
www.HuffingtonPost.com, although they can get a little rough and tumble, but very, very informative and current. Also, there is a list of political sites, both sides, available on google and yahoo, and also, on the bottom of the Huffington Post page.
If blogs interest you, there is
www.dailykos.com, another informative site for Democrats and Greens, and Independents alike, although everyone is welcome.
The more you search, the more you will find, so it is easier to look along your party right now, I feel.
Peace and Hope,
night
