a friend of mine told me this once when i was in high school... we are no longer in touch so i can't ask her for any more details, sorry if it seems a bit.. well.. not detailed, vague.

what she told me was that when she was having a shower, somewhere in her neck/chest area (can't remember exactly) she started bleeding, and there was no visible wound or injury or anything. of course she got freaked out but did not go to the hospital. i got the impression that the blood somehow seeped through her skin.

i tried to urge her to go to the hospital but she said she didn't want to for some reason. was she just making this up? can this really happen?

anyone have any info?

as you see it's not an urgent matter.. but i've been wondering about it every now and then. i asked once about it in a community on livejournal, and got a reply that it might be an infection of sorts and she needed to go to the hospital immediately.

i knew her for about two or three years after this incident and she was fine.... so its kinda weird to me.
