The irony of true self-esteem is that when you have it, you can become self-forgetful. It is those who have no self-esteem, low self-esteem, or poor self-esteem, that are endlessly thinking of themselves. Real self-esteem liberates from self-centeredness.
Just a thought -- and something to look forward to when we all "get there."
