EJ, your cousin is in a hospital, right? It seemes to me that the problem lies with the staff and not the fact that it's an orthopedic wing. It's not right that they should let your cousin be in so much pain. Don't they make night rounds to see if everything is okay or if anyone needs anything?

This just isn't right to me. Not at all! Ask your second cousin to have a talk with the doctor to find out what he thinks and where he's coming from, then take it from there as to how far up the ladder you go or your second cousin goes.
