Yes, I have had trouble with this. If you have this, I imagine you already know what it is. It is an overgrowth of the uterine lining, which causes women to have increasingly heavier, longer menstrual periods. It generally continues to grow and worsen once it starts, if left untreated, I believe.

In my case, we treated it by doing a D&C. This removes the lining, and allows the uterus to start with a "clean slate" if you will. It's a minor surgical procedure which you can do as an outpatient. For me, this resolved the problem. I had the procedure several years ago and I am still doing well in that regard. The D&C wasn't exactly fun, but it wasn't too bad. I had a few days where I didn't feel very well, but then I was functioning again just fine. The results were definitely worth it, as I was pretty much menstruating all the time, and very heavily. Now my body is back on track again and I'm very grateful for that!
