Hi September!

My hair grows VERY fast, so much so that I have visible gray roots three weeks after coloring.

When I get my hair professionally colored with Aveda products (I do this about once every three months because it's so expensive), I can go about 4 weeks before coloring.

Between these professional colorings, I touch up my roots myself. I have not found a dye yet that lasts longer than 2 weeks! I leave it on 45 minutes.

Can you suggest a store bought dye which might be better? I just use Loreal or those other brands.

I use chocolate brown. I just get so frustrated about having to dye my hair all the time. I'm 36 and don't want to go the natural route quite yet.

Any thoughts???
